Hungary Construction Output


Construction output in Hungary increased 18.5 percent in January of 2017, after declining by 14.9 percent in December 2016. It was the first annual rise since December 2015 and the highest growth since May 2014, as building construction rose by 32.8 percent (from -5.8 percent in December 2016) while civil engineering fell at a slower pace (-3 percent from -25.5 percent). On monthly basis, construction output went up by 4.6 percent. Construction Output in Hungary averaged 0.76 percent from 2001 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 37 percent in March of 2002 and a record low of -34.60 percent in March of 2016.
