Producer prices in South Korea declined 3.1 percent year-on-year in May of 2016 following a downwardly revised 3 percent drop in April. Prices of electricity, water and gas went down 7.3 percent and industrial goods fell 5.4 percent while cost of agricultural, fisheries and forestry goos was flat and services increased 1.1 percent. On a monthly basis, producer prices were unchanged.
