Exports from Thailand decreased by 4.4 percent year-on-year to 17,620 USD million in May of 2016 , following a 8.0 percent drop in April and market expectations of 4.8 percent decline. Outbound shipments shrank to China (-12.7 percent), followed by Japan (-8.6 percent) and Europe (-2.7 percent). In contrast, exports were up by 3.4 percent to the US.
